HHS Technology Group, LLC (HTG) has partnered with Noridian Healthcare Solutions, LLC and the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services to enhance Iowa’s Medicaid provider management system. The partnership will implement HTG’s Discover your Provider (DyP) solution, an advanced online portal for providers, offering self-service features like enrollment and license verification. This move is expected to bring operational efficiencies, cost savings, and improved provider experiences to the Medicaid system in Iowa.
The new system aims to benefit Iowa Medicaid patients by enhancing care delivery, reducing wait times, and improving overall health outcomes. Around 25% of Iowa’s population is enrolled in a covered Medicaid program, with nearly half of the state’s children being served by Medicaid.
DyP offers several advantages, including reducing enrollment time for new providers from over a month to under five days, simplifying the application and renewal processes, integrating pharmacy provider enrollment, and facilitating fully electronic provider agreements.
This partnership leverages HTG’s DyP as a certified Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) provider solution, which has been evaluated and approved by the National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) ValuePoint contracting arm. This development aligns with the collective goal of enhancing provider participation in Iowa Medicaid and delivering quality healthcare services to the state’s population.
